Jachin is obsessed with Indiana Jones. Bi-Annually Jachin chooses a superhero of some sort to latch on to. It has been Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Sampson,Wolverine, The Human Torch, Anakin Skywalker, Ninja Turtles, and now Indy. We let him watch the first and third Indiana Jones movies (with editing of course). He was intrigued by the bible themes. (He now thinks Indy is a Christian.) When he asked what the ark of the covenant was, I told him it was where God sat, but he doesn’t sit there anymore. He is in our hearts now. Well that was amazing to Jachin:
“Our hearts are kind of like His new throne! Isn’t it amazing that God is so BIG but he can fit in our hearts. He is kind of like a leprechaun! He can shrink down to fit in our hearts!”
I love his little heart for God. He is such a spiritual thinker already at the age of 6.
